Syllabus
The course is divided into three semesters. Each semester is divided equally into 4 months.
Semester 1
The first semester is designed for building a complete, basic foundation for film Techniques. It will introduce students to the technical and artistic aspects of digital photography/filmmaking, They will learn the principles of digital camera usage, the techniques to take high-quality videos they will learn to apply light and shadow methods creatively and finally to enhance their pictures in the digital darkroom.The main goal of the first semester is to develop core photography skills by shooting assignments with a digital SLR/ mirrorless cameras.
Semester 2
The second semester is constructed to bring students to examine various streams of filmmaking genres :- ACTION , LOVE , HORROR , THRILL , DRAMA , ROMANCE ,SCIENCE FICTION , COMEDY , CRIME ADVENTURE ,FANTASY , WAR DOCUMENTARY, ECT. As students examine a wide range of imaging disciplines they practice the essential business skills that enable any professional
to run a successful practice, including research, self-promotion .The second semester builds on students basic skill set and challenges them to refine their technical, aesthetic business skills . After discovering all the functionalities of DSLR/MIRRORLESS cameras, students finally enter into Filmmaking module. They will explore the incredible high- definition video capabilities of today's DLR cameras as they are immersed in a unique curriculum of visual storytelling techniques, including concept direction, editing, Lighting, sound design special techniques, culminating in a short video project. The main goal of the second semester is to develop knowledge in the main areas of photography and to practice essential business skills to be able to choose future field of professional interest.
Semester 3
In the final semester (Developing Portfolio). Students will be assigned projects culminating into a professional portfolio that could be used for job
 opportunities .The last semester is constructed as an experience of a typical photographers professional life, split between commercial assignments and personal work. It gives students the opportunity to actually practice not only creative techniques, but also to become completely comfortable with the business skills necessary to be successful as a professional photographer within whatever area of the business they decide to work. They will get sufficient work experience as well as real practical exposure
The main goal of the final semester is to apply the knowledge to student's personal projects and to work on developing their own individual style by working on platforms provided by Aradhna College Of Film &Art.
