Topic 1 [SILENT ACTING]
A silent film is a film with no synchronised recorded sound (or more generally, no audible dialogue). Though silent films convey narrative and emotion visually, various plot elements (such as a setting or era) or key lines of dialogue may, when necessary, be conveyed by the use of title cards.
Topic 2 [BODY LANGUAGE]
When preparing for a role, actors consider many details, such as how to hold their posture, effectively use their eyes, move across the room with purpose, and gesture with their hands, to name a few. The options of physical expression are truly limitless.
Topic 3 [IMPROVISATION]
Improvisation is one of the core techniques used by actors. It stretches the imagination, sparks spontaneity and can lead to unforgettable performances. To the dismay of script writers everywhere, it has also been responsible for some of the best moments in cinema history!
Topic 4 [IMAGINATION]
Developing imagination is one of the most important components of actor's success. In order for the audience to believe your acting, it's you who has to believe first that the life of your character is real. And to do that, you need to be able to build a small world of your character's life in your mind.
